Conopeum v3.1: A Customer Portal Built Around Each Website, a Calmer Task Page and Timesheets You Can Scan

Version 3.1 rebuilds the Customer Portal around each customer website, adds a modern task page and Team Chat, and lets HR scan paper timesheets into the Time grid.

By Conopeum Team

Conopeum v3.1 is out today, 10/31/2026. This release is about three things small teams told us they needed: a clearer window for customers, a task page that shows what matters at a glance, and less typing when paper timesheets arrive. It also includes a long list of speed and reliability work, especially around Google Tasks.

## A Customer Portal organized by website

Many customers have more than one website, so the rebuilt Customer Portal now starts there. When a customer signs in with their email link, their home page groups everything by website: what needs their input, what is in progress, what was finished, site updates, the calendar, invoices from Plutio and time. A filter at the top narrows the page to one site.

Portal owners can now invite their own teammates and decide which websites each person sees, with up to 2 people per website. Shared tasks show the full conversation, including public comments and linked emails, while internal notes stay internal. Requests sent from inside the portal become real tasks straight away, with the form answers as the task details. Your team can open any customer and use the same tabs to see exactly what that customer sees, without signing in as them. Invoices and the dashboard now appear instantly from a saved copy while fresh data loads in the background, and the portal carries each workspace's own name, colors and readable dark mode.

The Customer Portal is a $19/month add-on per workspace.

## A task page that fits on one screen

Every workspace can now choose between the original task layout and the new **Task template modern**, and each person can pick their own. The modern layout puts Details on the left and Subtasks on the right, keeps the due date, status and assignees in one compact strip, and shows the hours already recorded right beside the timer. Long descriptions start short with a Read more link, the email that started the task sits in a highlighted card, and you can write a Comment or an Internal note directly on the Overview, each in its own color.

The Files tab shows attachments beside the places you add them from. Images and PDFs preview inside Conopeum, and Google Drive files show their folder, such as *Bulletins / 2026*, so files with the same name are easy to tell apart. Workspaces can also decide whether finishing a checklist item needs a note, and existing notes are never overwritten.

## Scan a paper timesheet instead of typing it

HR can now upload a photo, PDF or spreadsheet timesheet for any employee from the Time grid, including people without a login, and even straight from an iPhone in HEIC format. Conopeum reads the clock times first, adds split shifts together, sorts out obvious AM/PM mix-ups and turns full and half substitute days into 8 and 4 hours. HR can pick between the clock calculation, the nearest quarter hour or the handwritten total for each day, then send the hours to the Time grid for normal review. Nothing is ever approved automatically. Paid time off can be recorded from the same box you type hours into.

## Team Chat

Team Chat gives every workspace its own channels and direct messages, with messages arriving instantly. You can mention a teammate and turn a conversation into a task so follow-ups do not get lost.

## Google Tasks you can trust

Every task now shows whether it is in Google and up to date. Checklist items with a date or an assignee sync to Google as their own tasks, so they show on the right day. Behind the scenes we tightened how Conopeum handles Google hiccups: open tasks stay open, missing copies are recreated and only a clear completion in Google can close a task.

## Faster everywhere

Task lists show your saved tasks first and fill in Google in the background. Badges, chat and other extras wait until your tasks are on screen, routine background checks run less often, and timers update live across tabs. Switching workspaces reuses what you already loaded.

## And more

Paused email automations now record the dates they skipped and pick up on the next date. Unused bulletin dates can be removed after they pass, channel dates are always listed in order and your task sort order is remembered. You can compose and reply from Mail and Fleet Guardian site updates group into one task per website per month.
